A home worth logging into.

Saltbox is a small, hand-built network of Garry’s Mod servers. We bring back the games we loved, polish them up, and keep them running so you can just play.

The network

One click. You’re in.

Every Saltbox server has a clean address, a one-click Steam join, and a Discord room you can drop into. No launchers, no logins, no friction.

What Saltbox is

A small network with the polish of a big one.

Saltbox is named after the old colonial house style — small, asymmetric, hand-built, and standing for a hundred years. That’s the tone. We’re not chasing scale. We’re running a handful of servers we genuinely care about and treating every UI, every hook, every function like it matters.

Most of our work goes into the parts you don’t see: clean networking, a Discord chat bridge, live status, fast reconnects, sane admin tooling, and a content pipeline that doesn’t checkerboard your textures. The result is a place that just feels tight to play on.

  • Polished by default

Custom HUDs, design-system theming, no half-finished menus shipped to live.

  • One-click in

Every server has a vanity address and a steam:// join link. Click, play.

  • Live two-way chat

In-game chat mirrors into Discord and back. Talk to players from your phone.

  • Cared-for ops

Backups, monitored uptime, staff who actually log in. Not a flash-in-the-pan.
